Who, Why, What, When and How
of Connection Groups

Who should be involved?
You! Everyone who is a part of CrossPointe Church needs to be participating in one of our Connection Groups.
Why should you be involved?
1. It's biblical, something that God commends and commands (Acts 2:46; Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
Hebrews 10:25 - 25: not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
2. It's good for others (see Romans 12:4-5). (NIV)
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
3. It's good for you! (Ephesians 4:16). (NIV)
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
What is the format for a Connection Group?
Each group has its own unique feel and format. Most simply get together and then respond to what God is saying through His Word, the message, question or testimony and then share their lives and pray together.
When do our Connection Groups meet?
Our groups all meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. and Every Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m.
How should you get involved?
We ask that you visit various groups until you find one that "fits" for you. Once you find a fit, we ask that you stay with that group so that you can build deep, supportive and accountable relationships with others.
The best way to grow as a Christian is to get into a situation where you can rub shoulders with others Christians and benefit from life-on-life modeling and mentoring from those who’ve learned what it means to live out their faith on a day-to-day basis.
